Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The Centennial Job Corps has a requirement for courseware, software, audio, and printed materials. We are looking for software equal to the Plato Courseware Software available from Plato Learning Inc., 802 Bamberger Dr., Suite D, American Fork, UT 84003. Telephone 801-492-0040. At this time we anticipate a sole source award to Plato Learning Inc. This solicitation document (01SQ10570) incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-25. The NAICS is 511210, the size standard is $18 million. Place of delivery will be Centennial Job Corps Center, 3201 Ridgecrest Drive, Nampa, ID 83687. Required delivery date will be 30 days after award. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (Oct 2000); 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999); 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Oct 2000); 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (May 1999); 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Aug 2000). Clause 52.215-5, paragraph (b) is tailored to incorporate the following clauses by reference: 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35,52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-3, and 52-232-34. In accordance with FAR Part 13, the Government intends to make a best value buy to the responsible offeror whose offer is most advantageous to the Government. Evaluation will include verification that the offer meets specified requirement, price, delivery date. Offerors are to include a completed copy of the provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Oct 2000) with the request for quotes (RFQ). Offerors may request a copy of this be faxed to them. The time and date of for receipt of proposals is June 8, 2001, 11:00 am MST.
