Description

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) intends to award a sole source contract to Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine located at 1830 E. Monument Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21205. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirement. AHRQ requires an organization that has established organizational connections with a pre-existing network or association of HIV care providers capable of transferring specific data elements to an off-site Data Center. The purpose of this project is to gather and analyze timely and relevant data on the accessiblity, quality, safety, utilization and cost of health care services provided to persons with HIV disease. Under the leadership of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, the HIV Quality Care Network is uniquely qualified to continue to provide the contacts necessary to assure the success of a national effort to assemble and analyze comprehensive patient level data on the determinants of service utilization by persons with HIV disease. The period of performance will be two (2) years with two (2) one year Option Periods. The estimated issuance date of solicitation AHRQ-01-0012 is June 15, 2001, with the proposal due approximately 30 calendar days thereafter.
