Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has a = requirement to evaluate the role of provider utilization of = information technology to improve patient safety through management of = polypharmacy outcomes. Using pharmaceutical databases, the contractor = will be required to develop a protocol to identify the risk of adverse = drug events, especially drug interactions, and to develop a method to = assess the effectiveness of applied technology in preventing adverse = drug events in target populations. The period of performance for this = effort is one year. Solicitation 2001-N-08014 will be available on or = about June 22, 2001 and proposals are due July 24, 2001.
