Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has a = requirement to evaluate the role of provider utilization of information = technology to improve patient safety through management of polypharmacy = outcomes. Using pharmaceutical databases, the contractor will be = required to develop a protocol to identify the risk of adverse drug = events, especially drug interactions, and to develop a method to assess = the effectiveness of applied technology in preventing adverse drug = events in target populations. The period of performance for this = effort is one year. Solicitation 2001-N-08014 will be available on or = about June 22, 2001, and proposals are due July 24, 2001.
