Description

Pending the availability of funds, the U.S. Department of = Education has a requirement to study the National Educational = Technology Trends (National Education Technology Trends Study, NETTS). = Specifically, the purpose of this 55-month study is to (1) evaluate the = implementation of the federal state formula grant program for = educational technology; (2) provide updated national profiles of the = implementation and use of educational technology in elementary and = secondary schools in the U.S. for the 2002-2003 and 2004-2005 school = years, and (3) build on the Integrated Studies of Educational Technlogy = (ISET) from 2000-2001 to provide national trend data on the = implementation and use of educational technology in U.S. schools in the = U.S., with an emphasis on the role of the federal state formula grant = program for educational technology.
