Description

FISC Norfolk Naval Shipyard Annex has a requirement for a firm-fixed price requirements type contract for laboratory analytical services to chemically characterize radioactive samples for waste disposal purposes in accordance with the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, supplies, equipment, and personnel to perform laboratory services for the samples provided by NNSY. Detailed specifications will be provided with the solicitation. The requirement is for a one-year base period with four (4) one year options to extend the term of the contract. All options will be evaluated with the base period. This requirement will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures as set forth in FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The solicitation number is N00181-01-Q-0412. Closing date for receipt of offers will be established in the solicitation. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 541380. The applicable small business size standard is $5.0 million.
