Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13. No RFQ will be prepared or made available for distribution. The government has a requirement for the following hardware/software service/support for the SEQUENT SYMMETRY manufactured NUMA-Q computer systems and associated components. The following information describes the terms and conditions for required hardware and software maintenance for IBM NUMA-Q computers. SERVICES: Provide 24-hour, 7 days per week maintenance support for the configuration of IBM NUMA-Q computer systems currently being maintained by the SSC SD Operations and Maintenance Branch, D0299. Provide remote problem isolation and resolution via telephone, email, and access to SequentLink remote monitoring system. Two (2) hour call-back response time required on all government phone queries. On-site 4-hour response time is required for remedial hardware fixes. Provide software updates and patches for operating system software. These services will be provided on government owned computers with government access. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Award through 30 September 2001. DESCRIPTION OF EQUIPMENT: Quantity (3) IBM NUMA-Q Computer Systems and associated hardware. Serial Numbers: 7F013C1F, 7F0082FD, 7F389289.
