Description

IAW AR215-1.7-4 and 7-5 the US Army Alaska is conducting a review of potential contractor services for performance of activities within the Directorate of Community Activity (DCA) Services at the US Army garrison. The functional area program under consideration is the possible operation of Satellite TV services on Fort Richardson and Fort Wainwright, Alaska. The purpose of this notice is to identify and establish initial interest from the vendor community. Responses are for planning purposes only. There is no obligation on the part of the government to issue a formal solicitation as a result of this request and participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with no cost or obligation to be incurred by the US Government. Information may be used to help formulate bidder's mailing lists, acquisition strategies, to include socioeconomic program support and to help establish commercial practices available to the government. Companies responding may indicate interest in one or both functional locations. Services are not currently being performed. Satellite TV Operations: Satellite TV service to be available 24 hours a day and seven days a week. Office hours for customer service to be open 5 days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Provide programs and services: Install, operate and maintain a Satellite TV service on Fort Richardson and on Fort Wainwright for all troop barracks; provide and document proper sales, installation procedures, maintenance, and closeout of services; provide technical self-inspection of installation and maintenance; collect all monies due; offer a revenue sharing percentage to the DCA; respond to customer complaints; offer a wide assortment of TV packages; provide all necessary record keeping; services to be at no cost to the DCA. The North American Industry Classification System code is 513220. The size standard for small business is $11,000,000. Small businesses will be expected to demonstrate experience in all areas and good past performance.
