Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to procure environmental sampling and analysis services through full and open competition. The contractor will be required to provide laboratory services including the furnishing of all labor, transportation, materials, equipment, supplies, facilities, utilities, supervision, quality assurance and quality control required for the pick-up, laboratory analysis, and reporting of analytical data regarding water, waste water, and miscellaneous media samples submitted by NSWCDD, Dahlgren Laboratory. The miscellaneous media samples will include liquids, solids, sewage, sediments, sludge, oils, and hazardous materials. The contractor must obtain all license, certifications, and permits required for the completion of the work and for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws prior to contract award. All work and services are to be performed by a laboratory that is certified to perform bacteriological and chemical analyses of drinking water by the EPA and Virginia. The laboratory must be located within a 2 hour commute of NSWCDD, Dahlgren, VA. A contract with a one-year base period and four one-year options is anticipated. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren Procurement Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area; therefore, synopses and resulting solicitations with any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/supply. Hardcopies WILL NOT be provided. Vendors should regularly access the NSWCDD Web Site to ensure that they have downloaded all amendments. DoD will no longer award contracts to Contractors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
