Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability to provide Comprehensive Sanction Center (CSC) services and Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) services for male and female offenders in the Eastern South Dakota area. Location of the facility shall be within the boundaries of the following counties in Eastern South Dakota: Minnehaha, Lincoln, Turner, McCook, Lake, or Moody. Interested parties are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the Contracting Officer listed in this notice. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work entitled, "Comprehensive Sanctions Center (CSC)", dated December 2000 and Statement of Work "Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) ", dated November 1996. A requirements contract is anticipated. The services are estimated to be 85% male and 15% female. The estimated number of inmate days for Line Item 1, CSC services are 17,520 for the two-year base period, 10,220 for option year one, 10,950 for option year two and 11,680 for option year three. Line item two for TDAT services will be for an estimated twelve inmates. Services for the two year base period are estimated at 8 assessments, 1,152 30-minute individual counseling sessions (96 sessions per inmate x 12 inmates), 1,152 30-minute group counseling sessions (96 sessions per inmate x 12 inmates). Services for each of the three one-year option periods are estimated at 4 assessments, 576 30-minute individual counseling sessions (48 sessions per inmate x 12 inmates), 576 30-minute group counseling sessions (48 sessions per inmate x 12 inmates). The estimated RFP issue date is July 16, 2001 and the estimated closing date is September 17, 2001. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency.
