Description

The government requirement is for the assessment, test, refurbishment, modification and repair to the AN/SPQ-9B Radar System Transmitter Unit. The contractor shall receive, test and verify as serviceable no defect found units, or receive, test and perform unit assessment and refurbishment tear down analysis as necessary. An Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract is anticipated with provisions for Time and Materials and Firm Fixed pricing. The base performance period is for one year, with an additional two option years. An estimated quantity of ten units per year will undergo the above described test and repair process. The government intends to conduct negotiations on a sole source basis with Northrop Grumman Corporation, Electronic Sensors and Systems Division (ESSD) for this requirement. The Navy anticipates a contract award on or about 15 August 2001. Note 22 applies.
