Description

The contractor shall provide engineering technical training services which will be used to maintain the viability, effectiveness and training readiness of the existing Strategic Weapons Missile Training Systems and associated training, unique equipment, and training materials. The effort shall include evaluation of installed systems and interfaces, analysis of training materials, and identifications of improvements to the Strategic Weapons System (SWS) Launcher Training Systems to increase its effectiveness. The Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) intends to negotiate this requirement with Northrop Grumman Corporation, Sunnyvale, CA, the only known source having: (1) complete familiarity with the design of the Strategic Weapons System Launcher Subsystems, (2) complete knowledge of the design, test and analysis data base which has been collected for the Strategic Weapons Systems during development and production, (3) complete familiarity with the training unique equipment and general procedures for the Strategic Weapons System Launcher Training Subsystem Components, and (4) complete familiarity with Strategic Weapons Launcher Subsystem training materials and personnel evaluation procedures. The negotiated effort will include an option provision to increase the level-of-effort items up to 30%. Security Clearance Required.
