Description

An A-76 cost comparison study is being conducted for specified services currently performed by Government personnel for Military Human Resources Services (Adjutant General (AG)), Fort Lewis, WA. The study is in accordance with OMB Circular A-76, Performance of Commercial Activities, to determine the most cost-effective mode of operation, i.e., continued performance by Government employees or by a contract performed by a commercial entity. A contract will not be awarded if Government performance is determined to be more advantageous. Contractor shall plan, program, administer, manage, and execute the work necessary to provide the following services: Military Human Resources (MHR), Movement Services, MHR Information Management Services, and MHR Development and Sustainment Services. A copy of the DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) is available at the Directorate of Contracting Web Site for download and review at http://www.lewis.army.mil/doc, select solicitation from the menu. Comments are being sought for on the draft PWS by 6 July 2001 from prospective offerors. Any resultant contract will have a performance period, which includes a phase-in period, a base year and four option periods. A determination of set-aside for small business concerns has not yet been determined. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561210, Facilities Support Services with a small business size standard of $5 million.
