Description

Under the authority of 38 U.S.C. 8153 titled, Expanded Sharing Authority and in accordance with FAR, Part 12 titled, Acquisition of Commercial Items the Louis Stokes Cleveland Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio intend to procure services to provide two (2) Full Time Equivalent Board Certified Anesthesiologist Physicians. This acquisition is unrestricted, the North American Industry Classification System Code is 621111 and the Small Business Size Standard is $5.0 million. Services shall be for a period of one (1) year from date of award, with two (2) pre-priced one year option periods. Anesthesiologists shall provide clinical and administrative services. Anesthesiologists shall be on site Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except federal holidays, and any other day designated by the President of the United States. In addition, the Anesthesiologist shall participate in the monthly on-call schedule providing emergency services between the hours of 4:31 p.m. and 7:59 a.m., Sunday through Saturday, including federal holidays, and shall provide on-call emergency services, 24 hours per day, seven (7) days per week. On-call requirements vary, however, six (6) shifts per month is typical. The solicitation will be available on or before June 4, 2001.
