Description

Notice of Intent to award purchase order to NRC Corp. for specialized support services of a senior ocean engineer with expertise for assessment of fishing threats to Navy cable systems in the areas of the Sea of Japan, including the Straits of Tsushima. Procurement requires the contractor to have a Secret Clearance. The contractor must be capable of collecting data from all major countries that fish in the area as well as other small fishing efforts that may be identified. The contractor must be familiar with and submit the data in the standard Navy cable system mission planning format and be compatible with the Navy cable system mission planning software (ARCVIEW) and geographically registered to allow overlay with other Navy data products such as bathymetry charts.
