Description

The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Division of Accounting Management is in the process of developing a solicitation for an Accounting Management Support contract which may be available in late June 2001. We are seeking additional sources who can meet the following requirements: 1. This proposed acquisition will be a 100% set-aside under the Buy Indian Act. Only Native Americans or Native-American controlled firms will be eligible for award. 2. The NAICS code is 54121 Accounting Services. The proposed contract calls for providing two full-time accounting consultants on a task order driven performance based service contract. The proposed period of performance will be for one base year and up to four optional years. 3. The consultants assigned to this proposed contract must be extremely knowledgeable in the areas of Federal Financial System, the Bureau's Fixed Asset and Project Cost Accounting sub-systems, Construction-in-Progress accounting, loan accounting and accounting under Tribal self-determination laws. 4. Specific tasks in the proposed contract may include, project management, requirements analysis, audits and reviews, reports development, operational assistance, policies and procedures development and other accounting assistance as specified in the task order. The place of performance will primarily be in Phoenix, AZ with other possible work locations in Albuquerque, NM and Denver, CO. Consultants must be willing to travel and work in these and other locations. Sources possessing experience and demonstrated capability to accomplish the above are to supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the required services.
