Description

R- The Department of Justice (DOJ) intends to issue a modification on a sole source basis to increase the contract ceiling under the following contracts: 97-C-0025, 97-C-0026 and 97-C-0028 for Litigation Support Services. The contracts are due to expire on 11/11/01 and a competitive follow-on procurement is underway. DOJ has determined that due to the short-time remaining on the existing contracts, and the complexities/advanced stage in the litigation process of some of the cases, transitioning to other than the current contractors would be impractical and could seriously jeopardize the outcomes of many Department cases. Responses must be submitted to the address shown in item 7 by COB June 1, 2001.*****
