5th Annuual JETT*CON2001:Navigating Our Future Together,is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration(ETA), and the National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA). The Conference/Exhibition will be held July 16-18, 2001 at the Baltimore Convention Center. ETA and NASWA seek to identify vendors who have products of interest to JETT*CON attendees. JETT*CON is an exclusive forum which attracts over 2,500+ senior workforce professionals from the public and private sectors. The JETT*CON exhibition presents an opportunity for vendors to access a $10+billion technology marketplace within the public workforce development system. The foundations of JETT*CON2001 will be:(1) America's Workforce Network, the Workforce Ingvestment Act-inspired system of programs and partnerships that has changed the delivery of workforce development services at all levels of the government; and (2)E-government, the promising transformation of government services and programs through the use of the Internet and other information technology and communication tools.
