Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center 1100 Tunnel Road Asheville, NC 28805 66 -- TITLE: NOTICE OF INTENT TO NEGOTIATE SOLE SOURCE SOL 637-31-01 DUE 071601 POC Joyce Lindsey, Contracting Officer, (828) 299-5809. The Department Of Veterans Affairs Medical Center intends to negotiate a sole source contract with the Apollo Software Inc of Falls Church VA for purchase of the Telepath Upgrade Component. Purchase will upgrade existing equipment for full diagnostic quality televideo conferencing and Apollo Telepathology Image Management System. The government believes that Apollo Software Inc is the only company, which can provide this type of equipment compatible with existing equipment. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes, however, responses received on or before noon July 16, 2001 will be evaluated. Offerors responding to this notice must provide proof that their equipment will meet the requirements stated herein. Information must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer and at a minimum include equipment brochures, company literature, plus a list of at least three references from similar facilities who are currently using the suggested equipment.
