The 99th Contracting Squadron, Nellis AFB, NV proposes to award a Sole Source (FAR 6.302-1) one time, firm fixed price purchase order to Smiths Industries Aerospace & Defense Systems Inc. dba SIADS, Signal Processing Systems Division, 13112 Evening Creek Drive S., San Diego CA 92128-4199 for four upgraded T1 Comsec Adapters to replace existing adapters that are a part of a secure network used for debriefing (top secret clearance is required for production and installation). No solicitation is available for this Sole Source acquisition. Competition for this purchase is not in the Government's best interest; disclosure of agency needs would require disclosure of proprietary information.
