Description

The announcement that appeared in the commerce business daily on or about May 14, 2001 is changed as follows: The resulting contract will be a Requirements Contract consisting of a One (1) Base Year period and Four (4) One (1) Year Options. Requirements Contract/Performance: This acquisition is for a requirements type contract for a single source to provide bus transportation for our typically 20 30 day exercise in the last part of July and first part of August . Approximately 1,000 soldiers will be transported daily. Minimum/Maximum Order Limitation: when the government requires services covered by this contract in an amount of less than one (1) hour, or more than 15 each Forty-five (45) passenger busses per trip, the government is not obligated to purchase, nor is the contractor obligated to furnish those services under this Contract. Guaranteed Order/ Funding: NO GUARANTEED DELIVERY ORDER IS OFFERED UNDER THE TERMS OF THIS CONTRACT. No funds are obligated under this contract until a delivery order, DD Form 1155 is issued. Award statement is changed to read: Award will be made to the lowest priced technically acceptable proposal. Contractor shall submit a list of at least three (3) companies, to include point of contact and telephone number of individual(s) who have held similar contracts for these services. All of the technical evaluation factors and past performance factors when combined are approximately equal to cost or price. THE DATE OF RECEIPT FOR PROPOSALS IS CHANGED TO 1500 hours (3:00 p.m. CST) 12 JUNE 2001.
