Description

PROJECT NUMBER 552-305. Furnish all necessary labor, materials, equipment and supervision to construct a new prime care addition at the VA Medical Center, 4100 West Third Street, Dayton, OH 45428. The new prime care addition will be a one-story building, with a second floor mechanical room. It will serve as an outpatient medical facility, with approximately 24,000 square feet. All work shall be completed in strict accordance with the drawings and specifications provided. The NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) code for this procurement is 233320. The small business size standard is 27,500,000.00. However, in accordance with Public Law 100-656, this acquisition is unrestricted. Estimated cost range is between $1,000,000.00 -- $5,000,000.00. The Contractor will be required to submit pay protection equal to 100% of the contract amount. The estimated completion time for the project is 15 months/455 days. Tentative issue date for bid packages if June 14, 2001, and bid opening is on or about July 17, 2001 at 2:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, in Building 408, Conference Room. There is a pre-bid conference and site visit July 2, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. EST, no exceptions. All requests for bid packages (drawings and specifications), must be submitted in writing, on the Firm's letterhead and contain the company's full name, attention to, address, telephone and fax numbers and the solicitation/project numbers. ONE COPY PER REQUESTOR AND NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED. All requests must be accompanied by a non-refundable $100.00 payment, made out to "VA Medical Center Agent Cashier." There are a limited number of bid packages and they will be issued on a first come, first serve basis.
