Description

Project number NKAK 00-1034 is for a Task Order Contract (TOC) = for projects on Little Rock AFB. Note: the response date is only an = estimate. The actual response date will be provided in the = solicitation. Work is to be performed in the general construction = category which includes, but is not limited to: maintenance, repair, = alteration, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, demolition, painting and = earthwork. We anticipate awarding multiple indefinite delivery = indefinite quantity contracts which will consist of a base year and two = one year option periods. One contract is set-aside for competition = restricted to 8(a) firms within the geographical area of Arkansas. = Award will be made to the firm, whose offer compared to other 8(a) = firms, is most advantageous to the government considering the = evaluation factors stated in this solicitation. Another contract is = set-aside for competition restricted to HUBZone small business = concerns. Award will be made to the firm whose offer compared to other = HUBZone small business firms is most advantageous to the government, = considering the evaluation factors stated in this solicitation. The = remaining three contracts will be awarded using unrestricted full and = open competition, and the evaluation factors stated in this = solicitation. Other 8(a) contractors outside the geographical area of = Arkansas are encouraged to compete for these contracts awarded on an = unrestricted basis. The estimated contract magnitude is more than $10 = million. Award will be based on Air Force Median Source Selection = procedures. The applicable North American Industry Classification = System (NAICS) codes are subsectors 233, 234, and 235. It is = anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on or = about 25 May 01 and may be obtained at the following website: = http://www.fedbizops.gov.
