Description

Sources are sought for Military Family Housing Facilities Support and Real Property Maintenance at the Marine Corps Service Activity in Belton and Kansas City, Missouri. One contract with one base year and four one-year options will be awarded to one contractor. The contract will be part firm-fixed price and part indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ). Work under the firm-fixed price sections include, but are not limited to, preventative maintenance, water treatment services, service calls, janitorial services, street sweeping and grounds maintenance. Work under the IDIQ sections will be issued by task order. The IDIQ sections include contractor generated pricing for housing maintenance and R.S. Means estimating for real property maintenance. The contractor will provide all labor, supervision, equipment and materials necessary to maintain and repair the facilities covered by this contract. Services to be provided include maintenance management, service calls, change of occupancy maintenance, installation and servicing of appliances, quarters cleaning, janitorial services, painting, snow removal and recurring facilities maintenance on military housing and real property. Construction services to be provided include site work, concrete, masonry, wood/plastic, thermal/moisture protection, doors/window, finishes, specialties, equipment, furnishings, special construction, conveying systems, mechanical and electrical. Labor to be provided includes all grounds, building and residential service trades such as carpenter, labor, plumber, electrician, roofer, painter, equipment operator, truck driver, masons, cement finishers, bricklayer, welder, glazier, plasterers, sheet metal worker, building labors, steam fitters and all supporting trades. The solicitation must be downloaded by interested parties and printed at their own expense. Proposals will be evaluated in accordance with factors identified in the solicitation and award will be made for the firm-fixed price sections of the contract to the firm that provides the best value to the government.
