Description

The Government is resoliciting this requirement, previously solicited as N00406-01-R-5098, as N00406-01-R-5190 due to clarifying the scope of work. Contractor's interested in providing services under this solicitation are requested to have a facility capable of handling all labor, material, and equipment to disassemble, clean, inspect and assemble new cargo elevator trunk closure be within a 75 mile radius of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, in Bremerton, WA. The period of performance will be on year from the date of award, with two (2) one year option periods. This is a 100% Small Business set-aside. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity type contract with a guaranteed minimum of $25,000. This solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will be in a Microsoft Office '97 or Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (.pdf), and will reside on a World Wide Web Server, which may be accessed using WWW browser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the Navy electronic commerce page is http://www.neco.navy.mil. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government will not maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments. Failure to respond to electronically posted solicitations or quotes and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals or quotes may render your proposal or quote nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
