Description

TACOM-ROCK ISLAND intends to procure Army Targetry Systems through solicitation DAAE20-01-R-0083. This procurement action will initially include a segment covering Small Arms Live Fire Ranges (Turnkey, Hardwired, Radio Frequency and Portable). The solicitation will be amended at a later time to include a second segment covering Armor Live Fire Ranges and subsequent segments covering range requirements that have not been defined sufficiently for publication. This solicitation will result in multiple awards of Ten Year, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts with firm fixed prices. The guaranteed minimum is $50,000.00 for each contract awarded under each segment of this solicitation regardless of the number of CLINS awarded. Estimated issue date is 19Jun2001. Estimated response date is 19July2001. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: http://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
