Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for publishing a "civilian enterprise" base guide with unofficial telephone directory and base map in support of Naval Station Everett. Procurement will be in accordance with DOD Instruction 5120.4 dated 16 June 1997. The base guide, telephone directory, and map is an authorized publication containing advertising prepared and published under contract. The right to circulate the advertising in the publication is the only contractual consideration to pay for the publication. Contractor will be required to provide 3,000 hardcopy and 1,000 compact disk base guides, maps, and phone books each year. Place of delivery is Naval Station Everett, Everett, WA. For a base period of performance from 2 Jan 02 through 2 Jan 04, with the possibility of two, two-year option periods. The unrestricted solicitation will be issued on or about 15 Jun 01 with a closing date of 16 Jul 01. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to jennifer_e_santiago@puget.fisc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your quote nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. Note 25 applies.
