Description

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration = (SAMHSA), Office of Communications and External Liaison, Center for = Substance Abuse Treatment (OCEL/CSAT), through the ADP Acquisitions = Branch, Program Support Center (PSC) intends to award a sole source = acquisition to National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence = (NCADD) in New York, NY for the National Alcohol and Drug Addition = Recovery Month 2001. The community-based events shall be an integral = part of SAMHSA/CSAT's 12th annual National Alcohol and Drug Addiction = Recovery Month. The effort is for the provision of outreach to the = African American community in the conduct of community-based events for = Recovery Month 2001 celebration. This proposed requirement for which = the Government intends to solicit only one source is under the = authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested concerns may identify their = interest and submit a capability statement that demonstrates their = ability to provide the services required. Information received will = normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to = conduct a competitive procurement. This notice is not a request for = competitive proposals. No solicitation is available; therefore, = requests for such document will be considered invalid responses. A = determination by the Government not to compete this proposed = requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no = affirmative responses are received, the Contracting Officer will = proceed to issue a purchase order to NCADD.
