Description

This is Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source, Follow-on contract to the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNC-W) to evaluate potential impacts of the Wilmington Harbor Deepening and Widening Project along a thirty-six (36) mile stretch of both rivers and estuary on the lower Cape Fear estuary, including the Cape Fear and Northeast Cape Fear Rivers. This study will be a follow-on to existing work being conducted by the University in the estuary. See Note 22. All requests must be in writing and may be submitted by facsimile to (910) 251-4454. However, for Note 22: "ALL PROPOSALS RECEIVED WITHIN FIFTEEN (15) DAYS (IN LIEU OF FORTY-FIVE (45) DAYS) AFTER DATE OF PUBLICATION OF THIS SYNOPSIS WILL BE CONSIDERED BY THE GOVERNMENT."
