Description

The contractor shall inspect, repair and perform annual and monthly preventative maintenance inspection on estimated 168 overhead cranes ranging in lifting capacity from 300 pounds to 60 tons with written reports. The contractor shall perform annual test/repair of estimated 400 slings. The preventative maintenance inspections and annual sling test inspections will follow the OSHA Safety and Health Standards 29 CFR.SS.1910. The contractor will provide trained and OSHA certified service representatives. This requirement will be 100% small business set-aside with a base year and four option years. The anticipated award will be 1 October 2001. The place of performance is Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, PA. All responsible offerors may submit a proposal for consideration.
