Description

Notice of intent to increase of the ceiling for the last option year of contract N65236-98-D-3024 for engineering, technical and logistic support services for shipboard and shore applications of navigation equipment including inertial and gyrocompass navigation systems such as AN/WSN-1, 2, 2A, 3, 5, 7, 7A, and 7B, as well as several other speed, depth and charting systems. The ceiling increase is required to provide support of requirements for the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Charleston. The ceiling increase is being conducted on a sole source basis with WR Systems, Ltd., Fairfax, VA. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.This soulce source increase will be issued pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, as the current contractor is the only known source able to satisfy the agency's needs during this period of time, until a competitive contract takes effect.
