Description

The Government has a requirement to contract for a side scan = sonar (SSS) survey to create digital mosaic images of the seafloor for = mapping cable plow scours, cable jetting scours, trawl scours, habitat = characterization purposes. The charter will take place between = latitude 48o20' N to the Canadian EEZ and longitude 125o10'W to = 125o20'W. The charter will include a 5 day basic period with 5 option = days for a possible total of 10 charter days. The length and exact = dates of the cruise will be set at contract award. Vessel requirements = include: minimum vessel length of 30m (100 ft.), must have appropriate = deck equipment, winhes, A-frames, davits, etc., and operators to deploy = and operate the SSS equipment; must be able to accommodate up to 4 = Government personnel in addition to vessel crew.
