Description

The Kootenai National Forest, Three Rivers Ranger District is soliciting bids for the reconstruction of a 1.10 mile section of the Spar Lake Road No. 384. Work includes reconditioning of roadbed, placement of a 4 inch crushed aggregate base course, and placement of a 2 inch lift of hot mix asphalt. Also included is the installation of one ditch relief culvert. The crushed aggregate will be Government Furnished Material. The project is along a road that provides access to a developed recreation site and will require traffic control while maintaining uninterrupted access to the recreation site. The estimated start work date is August 20, 2001 with a mandatory completion date of September 15, 2001. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Not set aside for small business.
