Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Federal Correctional Institution Allenwood, located in White Deer, Pennsylvania, has a requirement for three (3) Underground Metal Grease Traps. The Government intends to make a single award for this requirement. The Contractor will be required to provide all materials and labor necessary to construct the Grease Traps in compliance with UL Standard 58 and Steel Tank Institute Standards for UST. Each tank will have two (2) man way openings, two vent ports, and an inlet and outlet (a minimum of 6" in diameter). All welds must be continuous. The tanks must have an exterior coating to ACT-100-U specifications. The interior must be coated to resist corrosion caused by acids. The project will involve work inside the secure perimeter at the Federal Correctional Institution Allenwood, Pennsylvania. The performance period will be 120 days. The project is unrestricted and open to all business types and sizes eligible to receive award. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. A security investigation/clearance is required. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit an offer that will be considered for award.
