- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a solicitation package will not be issued. Solicitation Number DAHA45-01-Q-0014 is issued as a request for quotation, is a 100% small business set-aside and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26. The associated NAICS is 513340 and the business size standard $11.M. This will be an all or none firmed-fixed price contract. The Washington Army National Guard is requesting seven (7) each Mitsubishi ST-251 Satellite Phones and three (3) Mitsubishi ST-151 Satellite Phones. The ST-251 shall include; transceiver, standard handset, detachable handset cradle, NiMH battery, soft carrying case, compass, and owner's manual, a 100-foot antenna cable and external mount flat plate antenna, and PTT microphone and junction box, AC/DC adapter and charger. The ST-151 shall include; transceiver, handset, cigarette lighter adapter, power supply, hard case, carrying strap and owner's manual. Vendors may quote refurbished, include the set up fee for each phone, and include all warranties on each phone. Vendor must be able to deliver the phones no later than 1 July 2001. The provisions in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items and FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. Award will be made to that offeror whose quote meets the specifications listed above and is the most advantageous to the government, which includes warranty, past performance, and price evaluation. The government intends to award a firm fixed price order. All quotes shall include prices, FOB point (name and telephone number), and GSA numbers if applicable, business size and payment terms. This award is being made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, Part 13 of the FAR. The government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation and response of this announcement.
