Description

Treasure Island Job Corps Center is soliciting bids for installation and implementation of a security and surveillance access system contract that will likely include eleven buildings and a gymnasium located at Treasure Island, San Francisco. The security, surveillance, and access system will connect all center buildings through a modem line connection reporing all activities to a centralized location. The equipment installed for the execution of this contract will be on a lease program as a separate component of this contract. All interested parties will have to manifest their interest with a written response via e-mail (vegae@jcdc.jobcorps.org) or regular mail (to the address mentioned above) by the close of business on 06/07/2001. All parties who respond to this initial deadline will have the opportunity to compete for this service and will need to attend an on-site initial evaluation on 06/21/2001 that will start at 8:30 AM and will end at 11:00 AM for scope of work development and bid preparation. After this preliminary evaluation, the official bid for this project will have to be submitted by the close of business on 07/12/2001. Notifications of award will be given on 07/26/2001. The bid will have to identify the card access system, the surveillance system, and equipment lease charge as separate components for pricing purposes; however, they will have to be addressed within a single proposal. Any proposals not adhering to this requirement will not be considered. The successful bidder must comply with all Federal Acquisition Regulation clauses and be compliant under all related federal statutory requirements and regulations.
