Description

This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-01-Q-4573. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase through full and open competition the following items: Item 001: (1) ea extruder drive, item 002: (1) ea. Control console, Item 003: (2) ea. screw fed hoppers, Item 004: (1) ea. Metering Gear Pump, Item 005: (1) ea. Horizontal adj. Ribbon Die, Item 006: (1) ea. Combined press/temp Sensor, Item 007: (1) ea. Clean-up Kit, Item 008: (1) ea. Twin Screw Extruder w/screws, Item 009: (1) ea. Sheet & Ribbon Take-off System, Item 010: (1) ea. Controlled Temp. Fluid Circulator, Item 011: (1) ea. Floor Stand for Circulator. Delivery is F.O.B. Destination, Naval Station Newport, Newport, RI. Detailed specifications and requirements for these items will be made available with the solicitation. This procurement will be processed using commercial procedures per FAR part 12. The solicitation will be issued in less than 15 days per FAR 5.203 (a) & (h), and will establish a response time of less than 30 days per FAR 5.203(b) & (h). Delivery to NUWC Division Newport will be required. The NAICS is 333999. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
