Description

Notice is given of the intent to negotiate a commercial, sole-sourced acquisition with Verizon Communications, 50 Park Drive, Research Triangle Park, NC 27709. The contractor shall provide all necessary materials, parts, components and equipment necessary for maintaining all hardware and software for the enhanced 911 (E911) emergency telephone services for all commercial and government telephone numbers originating or terminating at Fort Rucker, Alabama, and surrounding satellite basefields and stagefields near Fort Rucker, Alabama. The E911 emergency telephone service shall be provided for use by employees and residents of Fort Rucker, Alabama. The contract period of performance is 1 October 2001 thru 30 September 2002 with four option years. Copies of the Request for Proposal are not available.
