- HOME SALE ASSISTANCE RELOCATION SERVICES, SOL RFP-NCP-0002-1, POC = Jan R. Johns, Contract Specialist, 202-307-0985. The Federal Bureau of = Prisons (BOP) has identified the need for home sale assistance = relocation services to be provided to BOP staff who are required to = relocate. The BOP is seeking proposals from home sale assistance = relocation firms experienced in providing professional services at the = quantities described below for regular home sales and amended home = sales. The Contractor shall provide a relocation services program = consisting of guaranteed market value offers for regular and amended = home sale assistance, and marketing assistance to employees of the BOP = who relocate. The BOP requires this service be provided at a cost = which is a percentage of the market value offer. The home sale = assistance program will be offered to transferring employees preferring = to use the service for the sale of their eligible principle residence. = However, employees preferring not to use the home sale assistance = program or without a residence to sell may use all other programs = offered, except marketing assistance. Services described shall be in = accordance with the BOP Statement of Work. The anticipated term of the = contract includes a one-year base period and four one-year option = periods. The estimated quantities per year for the base period and = each option period are an estimated 570 regular home sales and an = estimated 380 amended home sales. This solicitation is anticipated to = result in a single award, Firm Fixed Price, Requirements type contract. = All responsible sources meeting the requirement listed in the = solicitation may submit a proposal. The estimated issue date for the = solicitation is June 18, 2001. The estimated closing date for the = solicitation is July 16, 2001. A pre-proposal conference will be held = prior to the closing date. The date for this conference will be = included in the cover letter of the solicitation. All requests for = solicitations must be in writing and can be received via United States = Mail or by facsimile with hard copy to follow via United States Mail. = No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone calls for = solicitations will be accepted. =20
