Description

This is a market survey to locate qualified sources for the U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics requirement for Electronic Point of Sale Data for Audio, Video and Telecommunication Products. The Electronic Point of Sale Data for Audio, Video and Telecommunications products will be used to improve the accuracy of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for fast-changing categories of consumer spending. The primary use of the data is for estimating values for individual product characteristics. These values will then be used to adjust prices collected for the CPI when the items priced change from one time to the next. Interested qualified Small Business Concerns are requested to submit Qualifications Statements as well as any and all other technical data on its firms capabilities to the address referenced in this synopsis. All concerns responding to this synopsis shall indicate if it is a Small Business. The closing date for receipt of responses will be ten(10) calendar days after the publication date of this synopsis. Interested concers shall request RFI -01-25. Only written requests will be accepted. Requests may be faxed on (202) 219-6853. Please do not follow-up a faxed written request with a written request.
