Description

REQUEST FOR QUOTATION -- - NOAA, National Marine Fisheries Service located in Seattle, WA requires a contractor to provide elemental combustion system, must meet the following, this system will be utilized with a mass spectrometer and is required to be compatible with the delta plus mass spectrometer. Specifications: Analyzer must be capable of being directly coupled to the mass spectrometer for continuous flow measurement of stable isotopes; shall have on board control of all instrument functions with no separate computer control required; must be capable of being configured for the simultaneous determination of N, NC, NCS, CHN, CHNS, or O; must make a complete gas chromatographic separation of all elements; must analyze the entire gas sample resulting from combustion, with no splitting or for stable gas control; helium and oxygen gas flows must be control by regulators, not mass flow control; system must include a sealed carousel autosampler, which adds no atmospheric nitrogen during the sample introduction, autosampler shall have a standard 50 sample carousel, with the capability of switching to a 32 position carousel which can accommodate large samples; system should use a single dual, filament, thermal conductivity detector for measurement of total N, C, H, S and oxygen elemental concentrations, system must include installation, training and one year on site parts and labor warranty.
