Description

The Laboratory Instruments and Standards Branch at the Naval Air Warfare Center, Patuxent River, MD, has a requirement for a Model 1040C Panel Meter Calibrator, Quantity: 2 ea., to include calibration, warranty stickers, and calibration interval. These units are for a Portable, Ruggedized, Multifunction test set. The unit will be used in calibrating panels meters, circuits breakers and over current relays in place. The seven calibration functions provided are Voltage, Current, Frequency, Power, Power factor, phase and Synchroscope also, operates in a DC range of 10.0 mv to 1000 v at 0.25 milliamperes to 10.5 amperes an in an AC range of 1.5v to 750 v at 0.1 amperes to 5.25 amperes, Frequency range 50 Hz to 75Hz, Phase O to 180 . Accuracies are approximately (0.2% of indicated value + 0.05% of full scale. Specifically this unit will be used as a calibration standard. The government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, a firm fixed price contract with Arbiter Systems Inc., 1324 Vendels Circle, Suite 121, Paso Robles, CA 93446 under authority of FAR 6.301-1. Arbiter Systems Inc., is the developer and manufacture of this equipment. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may submit a capability statement. All capability statements received in response to this notice will be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether to initiate a competitive procurement. The government reserves the right to process this procurement as a sole source based on the response received.
