Description

The Laboratory Instruments and Standards Branch at the Naval Air Warfare Center, Patuxent River, MD, has a requirement for an Model 1807 RF Transfer Standard, Level Control Unit, Quantity: 6 ea. Attach to each unit to include calibration/warranty stickers indicating date calibrated, date due calibration, warranty/expiration date, and contract number and calibration interval. Assign the NAVAIR metcal calibration interval for CLIN 0001 to 12 Months. CAL with ANSI-Z540. The requirements for these RF Transfer Standards are temperature stabilized feed-through type bolometer standard/splitter. Frequency Range 100 kHz to 26.5 GHz., and SWR <1.2 and compatibility and interchangeability with the Tegam 1805B Level Control Unit and the Agilent Technologies 83630 Sweep Oscillator that are in the existing Automated Power Sensor Workstation. These devices are being procured to upgrade capability in the NAVAIR Metcal Program Calibration Laboratories. This machine must be compatible with existing equipment. The government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, a firm fixed price contract with Tegam Inc. 10 Tegam Way, Geneva, OH 44041-1144 under authority of FAR 6.301-1. Tegam Inc. is the developer and manufacture of existing equipment. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may submit a capability statement. All capability statements received in response to this notice will be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether to initiate a competitive procurement. The government reserves the right to process this procurement as a sole source based on the response received.
