Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), Number DAHA42-01-T-0005, which incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26. This requirement will be 100% small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code will be 421690, size standard is 100 employees. The government has a requirement for 10 each high performance LCD data/video projectors. (A) DESCRIPTION: (1) 1024 x 768 XGA resolution; (2) 1500 lumens; (3) Lens 1.7 -- 2.3, power zoom/focus; (4) screen size 30" to 300"; (5) compatible with all pentium's, MACS and workstations; (6) dual source picture in picture; (7) weight, not to exceed 13 lbs; (8) accessories required (a) AC power cable, (b) wireless infrared remote control w/laser pointer & mouse control, (c) RGB cable, MAC adapter, (d) RCA video/audio cable, (e)PS2 mouse cable, serial cable for mouse, (f) batteries, (h) hard carrying case; (9)5 year warranty, parts and labor. (B) APPLICABLE PROVISIONS AND CLAUSES: (1) 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror -- Commercial Items, Addendum paragraph (d) Product Samples -- delete in its entirety, paragraph (h) Multiple Awards -- delete in its entirety, the government plans to award a single contract resulting from this solicitation; (2) 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, all offerors are to include a completed copy of the representations and certifications with their offer (a copy of 52.212-3 in full text is available at www.arnet.gov/far or upon request from this contracting office); (3) 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items; (4) 52.214-21 Descriptive Literature; (5) DFAR 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration; (6) 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes and Executive Orders -- Commerical Items, the following clauses are applicable and incorporated by reference: 52.203-10, Price or Fee Adjustment for Illegal or Improper Activity; 52.222-21, Prohibition of Segregated Facilities; 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Special Disabled and Vietnam Era Veterans; 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers; 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer -- Central Contractor Registration; 52.232-36, Payment by Third Party. (C) EVALUATION FACTORS: The contract type for this procurement will be fixed price and award will be made on the basis of best value to the government, price and other factors considered. Selection will be based on the following evaluation factors, in order of importance: (1) technical factors, consideration of capability to provide the item required, and the quality of the proposed item; (2) total cost or price; past performance. (D) INSTRUCTIONS: Offers shall include: (1) a cost proposal, (2) descriptive literature of the product proposed; (3) 52.212-3, Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, filled in completely. Failure to provide items 1-3 listed above with your offer, may cause your offer to be considered non-responsive.
