Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, = prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as = supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This = announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being = requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The = solicitation number is NHLBI-PS-2001-004, and is issued as on Request = For Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation/contract includes all = applicable provisions and clauses in effect through the Federal = Acquisition Circular 97-26. The North American Industry Classification = System (NAICS) code is 325120 and the size standard is 1000 employees = for this requirement. There are no small business set-aside = restrictions for this requirement. The National Heart, Lung, and Blood = Institute intends to purchase Liquid Nitrogen (LN) Tanks, Model # = TAY24KKRYOS, quantity four (4) each, manufactured by Taylor Wharton, = Inc. In addition to the purchase of the tanks services shall include: = (1) removal of the existing tanks and set-up for the four (4) new = tanks. (2) Transfer the content samples stored in the four (4) = existing tanks into the new four (4) tanks. Two (2) existing Liquid = Nitrogen tanks are available for trade-in.
