Description

THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR IBM Thinkpads. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to correct the specifications for Item #1, Manufacturer Part Number 2629HSU. The laptop should contain 128 MB RAM, not 12. All other specifications remain the same. It is understood that the 850 MHZ processor speed has been discontinued by IBM. But, this does not mean that it is not available from some vendors who may still have items left in inventory. Due to the nature of the project these laptops will be used on, I need quotes to meet these specifications. My suggestion would be to try to find the requested laptops or submit a quote that meets these specifications as close as possible. IBM compatible/ commercially equal parts and/or a different model will not be accepted. The due date for receipt of offers is not extended. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) by 4:00 p.m. on June 14, 2001. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet and are in Microsoft Office 97 format and reside on the World Wide Web (WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
