Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to purchase the following items on a sole source basis from Rave Computer Association, Inc., 36940 & 36960 Metro Court, Sterling Heights, MI 48312: three Rave Systems 4U 19" rackmount chassis to include 300 watt power supply (SAP-6300), 2 80mm removable fans, 1 40mm drive bay exhaust fan, SUN original AXi motherboard, SUN 400 MHz UltraSPARC IIi Processor with 2MB cache. This equipment is an integral component of an airborne tactical surveillance system and must interface with various components of an existing airborne platform. Award is to be made under simplified acquisition procedures on an all or none basis. The closing date is 11 June 2001. Anticipated award date is 15 June 2001. All items are to be priced FOB Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100. Delivery shall be no later than 1 July 2001. THE GOVERNMENT SHALL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED IN THIS COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY (CBD) NOTICE. The Government will award a purchase order from this combined synopsis/solicitation to Rave Computer Association, Inc. All responsible sources may submit their quote by e-mail in Microsoft Word format to sd13@nswc.navy.mil. E-mail should reference N00178-01-Q-3027.
