Description

This is a modification to the synopsis posted in the CBDNET on 24 April 2001. The anticipated solicitation issue date is changed from "on or about 21 May 2001" to "on or about 19 June 2001" and the anticipated closing date is changed from "29 June 2001" to "19 July 2001". The date and time of the combined Site Visit/Pre-proposal conference will be provided in the solicitation. Proposals will be evaluated on a best value basis using the following: past performance, technical and price. Once initial offers have been evaluated for past performance and technical, and the Contracting Officer has established the competitive range, the Government shall use the REVERSE AUCTION method (an on-line downward pricing tool) to negotiate offerors' final prices. Those offerors within the competitive range will be allowed to participate in the REVERSE AUCTION and will be provided instructions on the REVERSE AUCTION procedures. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to award to other than the lowest priced offeror in accordance with the best value criteria stated in the solicitation. All other information publicized in the original synopsis is correct.
