Description

This project is a Request for Quotes to construct a trailhead on the Salida Ranger District, Pike/San Isabel National Forest, Chaffee county, Colorado. This project consists of the construction of approximately 240 meters of new road, trail, and parking areas; furnishing and placing one single unit concrete toilet building; furnish and place gravel, borrow and barrier rocks; furnish and install hitching rail and culvert;install sign post and Government furnished signs; install Government furnished Site Identification sign and furnish and install wheel stops. To get to the project site travel approximately 0.5 miles north on SH 24 from the traffic light on SH 24 in Buena Vista, Colorado, turn left on CR 350 (Crossman Avenue), travel approximately 2 miles west to CR 361, turn right and travel approximately 0.9 miles north to CR 365 (North Cottonwood Road), turn left, travel approximately 3.7 miles west on CR 365 to the job site where the Colorado Trail travels south from the road at the existing trailhead on the left side of the road. The performance period for the proposed contract is 45 calendar days. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. This will be a firm, fixed-price contract. The proposed contract is available under fulll and open competition. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered.
