Description

The USDA Forest Service, Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, Black Mesa and Lakeside Ranger Districts, Coconino/Navajo County, Arizona requires the following work: Willow Springs Lake -- remove existing boat dock and gangway, remove existing anchoring system, furnish and install new anchoring system using a concrete foundation and steel piles, furnish and install new boat dock and gangway.; Fool Hollow Lake -- remove existing boat dock and gangway, remove existing steel piles, furnish and install new boat dock and gangway, furnish and install new anchoring system using driven steel piles. Willow Springs Lake can be reached by traveling on Hwy 260 approx. 19 miles West of Heber to Forest Road 149, then traveling approx. 1 mile on FR 149 to the boat ramp. Fools Hollow Lake, Day Use Boat Ramp can be reached by traveling on Hwy 260 approx. 2 miles West of Show Low to Old Linden Hwy, then traveling East approx. 1/2 mile to the Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area turnoff. Proceed to the Day Use Area Boat Ramp. Plans and specifications will be available on or about Wednesday, June 20, 2001. Estimated price range is $25,000 to $99,999.
